First, protective clothing
Any suitable protective clothing required for spraying or blowing sand will vary depending on the type of work, nature and environment.
Wear refractory clothing and leather or rubber protective gloves when working in confined areas. Keep your wrists and ankles tightly to prevent splashing materials and dust from splashing on your skin.
Working in an open environment, a normal full set of overalls can be used, but the neckline can not be opened, and the button of the pocket should be fastened. Wear high-top shoes and cover the sides of your pants.
When spraying lead or other highly toxic materials in a confined or semi-open space, replace all clothing and respiratory protection every day and every time before meals. Washed clothes and respiratory protection should be thoroughly cleaned before reuse. Lead dust or other toxic materials.
Second, respiratory protection
Spraying operations require the operator to use a respiratory protection device. Depending on the nature, type and size of the dust gas, which respiratory protection device is used, spraying in a limited or sealed space requires the use of a continuous airflow channel respirator. It consists of a standard continuous airflow respirator, face shield or helmet and dust cover.
Third, noise protection
If the noise exceeds the defined range during spraying, all personnel in the vicinity of the work area should take hearing protection.
Fourth, eye protection
The radiation protection used in arc spraying is the same as the protection of arc welding. The eye can be protected with a 3 or 6 shade, and the helmet should be used if a part of the body is directly exposed to arc radiation or if some special radioactive material or reflective floor is being sprayed.
