The SG-100 model with few self-aligned components enables fast and accurate installation and saves downtime. The SG-100 is compatible with nitrogen, helium, and hydrogen plasma gases. General torches are equipped to support Ar-H2 and Ar-He plasma gas mixtures.
In addition, it is worth mentioning that these parts are designed to be automatically aligned and can be assembled easily and quickly while maintaining coaxiality (i.e. the center line of the electrodes on the nozzle shaft). The more accurate the ordering, the higher the arc in the nozzle.
Good coaxiality and moderate gas flow patterns can yield many advantages such as small heat loss from the nozzle, simple and reliable powder injection in long nozzle (positive) lifetime plasma flow, powder deposition from smaller nozzle, coating quality and reproduction.
